Sous Chef – Korean Cuisine

Our Client, a premier luxury integrated resort in the Philippines, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef specializing in Korean Cuisine.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and update authentic Korean menus aligned with business goals.
  • Assist in recipe creation, food costing, and inventory management.
  • Lead the team in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine.
  • Monitor food quality, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Analyze sales data to enhance profitability and guest satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience in authentic Korean culinary arts, menu development, and kitchen management, preferably within integrated resorts, luxury hotels, or high-end dining.
  • In-depth knowledge of Korean culinary techniques, ingredients, and traditions.
  • Strong understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
  • Creative flair and a proven ability to develop new and exciting dishes.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Native in Korean, good command of English.
