Head Chef (Asian Cuisine)
Our client is seeking an experienced Asian Head Chef to lead culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Asian / Western cuisine and a commitment to excellence
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for menu creation, management of kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Create innovative and authentic Asian dishes, continually update the menu based on seasonal ingredients, trends, and customer feedback.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety compliance, and kitchen sanitation.
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Ensure all dishes meet the established quality and presentation standards before leaving the kitchen.
- Control food costs and waste through efficient ordering and inventory practices.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a reputable Asian restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of Asian cuisines, techniques, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
