General Manager - Travel Agency
Our client, a well-known travel agency based in Toronto, is seeking a General Manager. This pivotal role will lead their thriving business and oversee the full operational and financial management of the company
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a team sales associates to deliver a world-class customer experience
- Develop and implement new systems and processes to address customer pain points and improve operational efficiency
- Recruit, manage, and retain high-performing team members while fostering a culture of accountability and ownership
- Serve as the lead on opening and scaling new office locations across Canada
- Oversee all day-to-day operations and be available to assist with urgent customer issues
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally to support business expansion and operations
Requirements:
- Experience in a leadership role within hospitality, retail, or a customer-facing service environment
- Demonstrated strength in guest experience, operations, and team development
- Financially literate with experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational KPIs
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is required
