Restaurant Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver service standards that meet the expectations of internationally acclaimed dining awards.
- Personally oversee relationships with valued regular guests, VIP clientele, media representatives, and restaurant critics.
- Ensure an impeccable dining room environment, maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, service flow, and guest atmosphere.
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a diverse, multicultural front-of-house team.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, attention to detail, pride, and genuine hospitality.
- Lead daily service briefings, ensuring the team is fully informed on menus, wine offerings, guest preferences, and service priorities.
- Oversee reservation management to maximize guest satisfaction and business performance.
- Monitor daily operational reports, budgets, and profit-and-loss performance to achieve financial objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with all Macau health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of Restaurant Manager experience in a fine dining or upscale environment. Experience in an international recognized restaurant establishment is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.
- Strong ability to build relationships with VIP guests, loyal patrons, media representatives, and industry influencers.
- Proven leadership experience in recruiting, training, developing, and motivating high-performing multicultural teams.
- Exceptional people management, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a culture of professionalism, precision, and hospitality.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including fine-dining service etiquette, wine service, and guest relations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and profit-and-loss performance.
- Hands-on operational leader with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with reservation management systems and guest relationship management practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Thorough understanding of health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations, with knowledge of Macau regulatory requirements preferred.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by business demands.
