Operations Manager - Freight Forwarding
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing global logistics leader in the freight forwarding sector, is looking for a high‑performing Operations Manager to strengthen their China operations team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in ocean export operations, team leadership, and process optimization to support the company’s rapid growth and service excellence.
The Operations Manager is responsible for improving service processes, enhancing overall team efficiency, and establishing clear KPIs to drive performance. Key duties include workload‑based headcount allocation, maintaining a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, and providing ongoing training and development for supervisors. The role also involves conducting regular profit and cost reviews, ensuring effective cross‑functional communication, and strengthening client relationships to support operational excellence and business growth.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or above and be fully proficient in Chinese and English. They should bring proven team leadership experience in the freight forwarding sector, with key account operations exposure viewed favorably.
