Liquid Cooling Thermal Design Engineer – AI Server & Data Center
Our client is a leading high-tech manufacturer and publicly traded company specializing in precision manufacturing and advanced thermal solutions for data centers, AI servers, and new energy applications. They are currently expanding their R&D capabilities in liquid cooling technologies to support next-generation AI infrastructure projects, currently seeking a Liquid Cooling Thermal Design Engineer to join the R&D Center.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, simulate, and optimize key liquid cooling components for AI servers and data centers, including cold plates, manifolds, and sealing structures.
- Support thermal management design for power electronics such as IGBTs, including liquid cold plates and radiators.
- Lead the integration of liquid-cooled server systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams in hardware, power, mechanical design, and testing to ensure performance, manufacturability, and serviceability.
- Stay current with emerging trends in liquid cooling and contribute to new technology development and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration, or related fields, with strong theoretical knowledge in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration.
- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and liquid-cooled server architecture, with experience in both secondary and primary cooling systems.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cooling system design for data centers or AI server clusters, with at least one proven successful project in the past three years.
- Experience with GB300 projects is required.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo/ProE, CATIA) and CFD tools (Flotherm XT, Fluent preferred).
- Experience working at major internet or cloud service providers.
- Full-cycle involvement in liquid-cooled server development from concept to mass production.
- Participation in OCP (Open Compute Project) liquid cooling initiatives.
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin).
