Investment Associate / Junior Investment Associate (i-Gaming)
Our client is a highly respected global investment firm with a strong track record of backing innovative technology companies, particularly within Gaming, Online Gaming, and Entertainment. To support their continued expansion, they are seeking an Investment Associate based in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct enhanced due diligence and background research using Bloomberg, PitchBook, FactSet, and public records.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research on companies, individuals, and related parties; identify risks, discrepancies, and critical information gaps.
- Prepare bilingual (Chinese and English) reports summarizing risk findings and investment insights.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes across Gaming, Social Gaming, Online Gambling, Sports Data, and Sportsbook.
- Support investment teams with industry research, benchmarking, and valuation models.
- Assist in monitoring portfolio companies and preparing investor updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 1–3 years of buy‑side investment experience in Gaming; candidates with less experience will be considered for Junior Investment Associate.
- Prior research exposure to online gaming sectors is essential.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proven ability to produce accurate, high‑quality bilingual memos and reports.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Solid research capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and operate independently.
