Investment Associate
Roles and responsibilities:
• Conduct enhanced due diligence research on potential target companies and entities
• Analyze and evaluate data from multiple sources such as public filings, company databases (e.g. Bloomberg, Pitchbook, FactSet), and media
archives.
• Perform both qualitative and quantitative background research on the requested companies/individuals and their related associates and identify
relevant risks, discrepancies, and any information that requires great attention.
• Draft bilingual reports (Chinese and English) summarizing due diligence findings and risk analysis.
• Track and review market trends and key developments
• Collaborates with investment and execution teams to develop industry reports, competitive benchmarking, and valuation models
• Focus on direct investment in growth-stage/early-stage Gaming and Entertainment companies
• Ongoing relationship management with assigned companies and fund managers including monitoring of investments, attendance of AGM/meeting, and advisory board meetings
• Overall operational support with regards to reporting and investor updates
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above from a top tier University.
• At least 1-3 years of relevant with buy-side Gaming and Entertainment investment and research experience
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong ability to summarize information and produce accurate, high-quality Chinese and English memos & reports.
• Possess strong analytical and presentation skills with strong knowledge in conducting research.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to travel is a MUST
