Assistant Director of Banquets and Conventions
Our client, a world-class 5-star luxury hotel group is looking for an experienced Assistant Director of Banquets and Conventions to join their dynamic team based in Macau.
In this role as an Assistant Director of Banquets and Conventions, you will oversee banquet and conventions operations and services of the hotel property. You will manage the administration and daily operation of the convention and event space. Responsible for manpower planning and revenue outlooks for the department. You will liaise closely with the Culinary team in all matters relating to the food quality and budget control. You will provide guidance and training to banquet personnel to ensure high level of customer service within the team.
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Director of Banquets and Conventions role should have experience in a 5 star environment, either a large convention hotel or convention centre in a similar leadership role. Proven track record of managing large scale of banquets and conventions. Good understanding of P&L reports and financial statements. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Delphi, Meeting Matrix. Excellent time management, managerial and organizational skills. Able to effectively communicate in English and Chinese (Mandarin), in both written and oral forms. Armed with proactive solutions and a can-do attitude.
